POLICY

My major is SOIL based on mathematics and physics. Since my father was a farmer, I was interested in soil. I have studied heat and mass transfer in soil by experiment and simulation regarding the soil as a pure porous medium since I was a master course student, but now I am staring a "living" soil and soil environment.
I was shocked to see the research system in U.S different from Japan while I was staying at Purdue University in 1991, and I decided to build a good environment for research in Japan. Of course I know the system does not change easily, but I am struggling for a better environment everyday. One of my struggles is buildup and maintenance of internet system in our society.
I hope young generation will produce an ecellent research to the world by using the new information system.
