水田の畑作時の地下灌漑と水稲栽培時の普通期における水位管理を自動的に行う、低コストな水位管理を開発し、作動、性能確認試験を実施した。低圧用と高圧用の２タイプがあり、両タイプ共に給水管からの吐出流量は、1.0〜1.2��/secを前提としている。低圧用は自然圧パイプラインや開水路からの取水用で、水圧0.2m〜5.0mに対応する。高圧タイプは、パイプライン地区用であり水圧4.0m〜20mに対応している。
